Please list your online auction items. Bids should be placed as a reply to individual posts. All sales are between the seller and buyer, and GoatTalk, nor its owner(s) or managers will be responsible for the quality or delivery of items posted within this area. All items will have a maximum 15 day bid cycle, and information about them will automatically be deleted at that time.

I'm sending mine via Paypal to Nicollett at the end of the week.

Yes, please send your percentage donation via www.paypal.com to n@bowlerfarms.com either at the end of the week or when your auction item is sold. Whichever works best for you is fine.

Okay, but I do not use paypal :(  I'll have to send you a check. Who do I make that out to? Nicollett Bowler or Goattalk?
After this last auction item, I'll send that out. :D

I have a question. I don't have Paypal. If something only sells for  $5, are you supposed to wait and send your donation after you have crossed a certain threshold of earnings? What would be an ok amount? ...I would hate to ask my mom to write a check for $0.50.

Sarah, you can do it anyway you want. You can wait and when you have $5.00 worth of donation you can send it then, or you can do it per item. It is all up to you. We don't bill you, it is all on the honor system.

If your mom approves, I would highly recommend you setup PayPal, it can really boost your sales, and you get paid immediately, instead of waiting for a check to arrive at your residence, and then giving it at least 10 days to clear. That way your buyers get their merchandise faster, and you get paid without hassles. PayPal is free to setup, and they only take a few pennys from each sale.

I'll try to look into it. My mom probably will not let me though, she is always so suspicious about "internet transactions." :( Well, thanks, we'll see what happens...

I totally understand, and in fact was rather concerned about the whole thing myself. But so far, so good on my end.

Oh, you can let your mom know when people pay with PayPal, their personal information, like account numbers etc. is kept by PayPal, it is never transmitted, all that comes across when someone pays us is there is money there for us, and who sent it. I really appreciated seeing this part of the equasion, because you just never know who is out there sometimes.

Hey cool...I didnt know that.  Where have I been?

So, to be sure I understand correctly:

I can post something (does it have to be goat related??)
Someone bids
Highest bidder wins
GoatTalk gets 10% of the sale price?

Exactly, you start a thread in here, run the auction any way you like and when its done you send the percentage due as a donation.
