My Pride and joy....
« on: February 24, 2008, 11:06:07 PM »
Shew...well, seeing as I haven't been on here in like FOREVER, I geuss it is time to post pictures of my fur kids; This is my horse, Pride. He is a coming 7 year old Quarter Horse Arabian cross gelding, and is one of the most wonderful horses I have owned in a literal lifetime of owning and being around them.

'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.' - Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Thanks all.  Yes, Pride is a very lovely boy; he is a very quick learner. He is also very 'soft', so definitely no raising your voice\emotions around him unless you want to send him 10 miles away! Because of those aspects he is very responsive, which I love.  The only thing I hate right now, is that he is 4 hours away from me...but atleast it is winter, so not the 'greatest' time of year for riding!  But still....I still miss hanging out with him! I am going to visit him this weekend though, and get to see him for an entire week in another week and a half, so I can't wait... I just desperately need a job, so my hubby and I can actually move him; right now we just don't have the extra $ :( Good thing for family!!!
