A little darling...
« on: June 15, 2006, 01:33:56 PM »
This little girl was born at our friends farm. He usually keeps a few steers, but is boarding horses for a friend for a little while. Well, him and his wife fell in love with this girls big brother, so they are keeping him. I think she is going to be sold. I would not be surprised if this little darling ends up staying too!

'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.' - Theodore Roosevelt 1907

I would probably be looking for a Quarter Horse gelding maybe somewhere around 10 yrs old, just a nice, quiet trail horse. That would be down the road though.

Kate, she is probably around 1 1/2 month old now. That pic was taken a few days after she was born. I finally got it off my camera. You can see a pic of the gelding I used to own if you look at the post titled "pic from back in the day" I also had a Quarter Horse mare, this was years before we got our own place and I had to board them. It just got so expensive and having to run over to the stable everyday with my crazy work schedule at the time, I sold them. I hated to, but I was happy that they were sold as a pair to very nice people.

Sondra, her big brother has the same coloring, he's gorgeous.
