thanks everyone for your prayers, I am having a really rough day of it breathing. hubby isn't doing any better. They let them out of the hospital way to soon. Seems his DR, is my DR's , brother in law, and they know I have the skills to care for him. But also realize that  I'm having it hard with asthma, today, so I was a tad bit upset, that they send him home. He wasn't there 12 hours. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and 5 of those was in the er. go figure. debi

HE is a very good DR, I guess I had a touch of Don's pneumonia, and he knew I had to stay on my feet for a while, while Don is getting better, but I saw the Dr Friday, and will see him Monday, DON says, I am not to move from that couch tomorrow, but he isn't well enough to do every thing on his own yet, he is still sick, and was sent home way to early. He was sent home with a breathing machine, and meds, now we both are taking breathing treatments, steroids, and antibiotics, but it sure is making my asthma worse. DARN. what a mess.
We were trying to see which one of us, didn't shake so much, so that one could drive to go get us something to eat.
I can't hardly hold a glass. that is what these meds are doing to us. but our breathing is getting better very slowly. not much at all. Don's is, mines not, and we are both as weak as water.

I'm sorry Debi you are having such a time fighting this. REST!!!!! You may need to go to the ER or go to another doctor if your not improving. Pneumonia can kill, you know, and with this asthma it sounds like your really run down. Do you have help with your animals?

thanks for all your prayers, pretty miserable tonight, went back to Dr. have been up graded a little , to not quite pneumonia, so  I guess I am getting better, if I could just get rid of the asthma. that would be great. But I am trusting in the LORD, doing my breathing treatments, and taking my steroids.
So something has got to help. like warm dry weather, instead of this cold damp stuff we are having now.
thanks again every one for your continuing prayers.

Good, glad to hear your doing a little bit better. Are you or your husband taking any vitamins? OR Vit. C? My husband had a bout with pneumonia a year or so ago, and he got so bad the doctors informed us it could turn and he could die. It was pretty scary, and your husband sounds like mine. The second he felt a hair better he tried going back to work which would run him back down again. So I started him on Vit. C tablets and vitamins and believe it or not that really made a difference. Doesn't sound like vitamins could hurt for you either if your not already taking them. Just trying to think of ways to help speed recovery. I also know the the drug guphiscofin(sp) is very important to help break up that plem when you have pneumonia. Not sure whether you could take that due to your asthma, but thought I'd suggest that as well. I know my husband never really did cough with his pneumonia and that just kept that plem in there which didn't help him with his recovery. I told him everyday-TO COUGH!!!! Said it didn't bother me to hear it and he needed to do it. My daughter got RSV when she was an infant, and the poor soul didn't cough, but was servery congested and when she would breathe, all you could hear was the congestion and what sounded like a asthma attack that wouldn't stop. She ended up being admitted in the hospital, but if he body had triggered her to cough, I believe she may not have gotten so bad.
Glad to hear you have help with your animals, keep trucking and drink some chicken broth, thats good to help you heal as well. My prayers will stay with you until you and your husband get through this.

hubby is much better, and yes, we take vitamins, I started on the c pretty heavy,. I am doing better, the steroids, are kicking in, and I am allot better today, I pray that I will be much better tomorrow. drinking tons of water, and eating protein, the breathing treatments, bring up the flum, which helps a great deal. So I am hanging in there, the drug you mentioned , I can't take, but Don is on it.
thank you for your prayers and concern. I am sure the Lord will get us through this. IO am just taking longer to get over it, than Don, but I have the allergy factor, but am getting through it. thanks again.
