'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.' - Theodore Roosevelt 1907

:prayer: " Lord we are all here at GT because of our love for our animals. Your wonderful creatures provide many spiritual qualities, such as, acceptance, unconditional love, joy, healing, forgiveness, patience, and courage. Let us this day strive to be more like our animals and to show our fellow man these same qualities. :prayer:

I worked outside this afternoon, such a pretty day, and when I sat down to take a break, I looked up and saw the prettiest Red Bird(Cardinal). There was a squirrel up above me in a tree, fussing up a storm - I guess I was making too much racket and disturbed him. Later, over in the bottom, I say 7 Deer at the spring drinking and they later crossed the field and went up in the woods. As I sat there, I just thought about all the beauty that surrounds us every day, and how we take this beauty for granted.

:prayer:  Lord, You have given us so much beauty in this world and many times we think we are so busy that we don't even notice the simple things. Please help us to just take a few minutes out of our busy days and take a look around us and appreciate all the wonders of nature that you have created. Whether it be your animals, a spring flower, or a little bud on a tree that knows that SpringTime is almost here.  :prayer:

:prayer: Lord, we ask that you grant us the gift of "PATIENCE". We live in such a fast-paced world that we expect everything to be immediate. Please help us to realize that all things happen in Your Time. We pray, asking for your help and guidance, expecting to see immediate results. Help us to realize that, yes, God answers prayers. It may not be in the form we are expecting, or the time period that we desire, but your answers to our prayers will be delivered if we will just belive and have "PATIENCE."  :prayer:

:prayer:  Lord, each person here tonight has some kind of worry and/or stress going on in their lives. Please touch our hearts and minds, and give us the strength to deal with these situations. Help us to remember that you are always there to guide us safely through anything that we have to deal with, if we will only call on you for guidance.

:prayer:  Lord, we have learned of so many neglected/abused animals in the last few days. Please place your healing hands on these poor souls, and guard them with your love. Please Lord, give all the people who are working so hard to rescue these animals the strength and means to make a difference in the animals lives, and to be able to bring them to safety in loving homes.

:prayer:  Lord, tonight, we ask that you watch over our children and keep them safe. There are so many terrible and cruel things happening to the children of the world. Things so bad, that we can not even imagine. Please wrap your loving arms around them and protect them with your love.  :prayer:

:prayer:  Dear Lord, As we approach this Easter day, we give Thanks for your son that was crucified on the cross for our sins, so that we may live. Lord we humbly bow our heads and ask your forgiveness, as we often feel we are not worthy of your blessings. We pray Lord that you will touch our hearts and souls, and give us the strength to march onward and to Praise your Holy name.  :prayer:

:prayer:  Lord. please bless and watch over all of us here at GoatTalk.

Tonight, we have a special request, Lord. We humbly bow our heads and ask that you lay your healing hands on "NIC". Please, Lord, we ask that you ease her pain, and speed her healing. Lord, we ask that you give her the strength to get through this trying time, and help her to be able to do all that she needs to do for her family and her animals, for we know that this is a big burden for her right now. Lord, I may be the one speaking, but there are so many others right behind me that are praying this same prayer tonight.  Please, Lord, we ask this in your name - Amen!   :prayer:

:prayer: Lord, tonight we asked your blessings on our dear friends. These friends, Lord, are many that we have never met in person, and may never meet. We are all blessed, though Lord, with one common bond. This bond for each other, Lord, has grown from the love of one of your wonderful creatures. A sweet little 4-legged creature that has taught us all  love, patience, and devotion.   A wonderful little animal that we call a " GOAT". :prayer:

:prayer:   Lord, tonight  "I" need to talk to you. My heart is so saddened and angered! I know we are not supposed to ask WHY, but I just don't understand. It is everyday that we hear of innocent children being taken from their homes, that they are suppose to be safe in, abused and murdered. We hear of sweet little children, having their parents being murdered in their homes and having to try to survive this. I am just a little confused, Lord, and I ask that you help me and everyone else understand this. Please, Lord, watch over the children and keep them safe. Please, Lord, stop all these evil people from committing these deeds. One comfort we can hold on to is that they are all now Little Angels up in Heaven with you. Forgive me Lord.

:prayer:  Lord, During our lifetime, decisions have to be made for many different reasons. These decisions may be those that will effect our own lives, as well as the lives of others. Please Lord, we ask that you guide us and move us in the right direction; a direction that will be pleasing to you and will enable us to serve you better.  :prayer:

:prayer: Lord, as we approach the beginning of a new season, we are all so thankful for Springtime. It is a beautiful time in your world, with the presence of new live. We also know, Lord, that it brings the worries and concerns of changing weather. Please, Lord, protect us, our beloved animals, and our homes, as we transgress into the time we rejoice for called "Spring".

:prayer: Lord, tonight, we ask that you wrap your loving arms around the families of two of our GT members. We know, Lord, that Amy's grandfather has been diagnoised with Colon Cancer. We ask that you comfort this family in all that they have to go through at this time. We ask that you watch over Amy's mom, while she has to be away from home.
Also, Lord, we ask for special prayers for Stephanie and her husband during this time of waiting for tests results. We pray, Lord, that you will give them the strength and courage to deal with whatever comes their way. Also, Lord, we ask for prayers for any and all of our other members that are experiencing difficulties of any nature. Lord, you know best and we ask that you guide us in the direction that we may serve you most. :prayer:

:prayer:  Lord, tonight we ask that you help us to be more self-confident. We all question ourselves at times, whether it is just getting through our daily activities or in caring for our beloved animals. Lord, help us to realize that we are capable of doing much more than we give ourselves credit for. Here on GoatTalk, we love our goats so very much. Help us to be able to use the knowledge we have all learned from this forum. We realize that through you, Lord, we can do anything!!!!  :prayer:
