Guess what I found last night?
« on: February 16, 2005, 06:21:04 PM »
I went to feed the rabbits last night and discovered one of Bryan's rabbits, who we weren't for sure was bred, had delivered 10 baby bunnies.  :D I almost broke my neck trying to make it back to the house to holler in the back door. . "WE'VE GOT BABY BUNNIES!!!!!"
As soon as I can, I'll post some pictures.

Thanks, Cassandra, Laura, and Amy. They are not really cute, right now. no fur, thin skin.. .I had to look twice to know what they were when I first saw them in her cage.  I thought they were little pieces of poop at first

No, Laura, I haven't lined anything up yet. Have you seen the Democrat Gazette today? in the Livestock and Poultry section of the Classifieds are 2 3-year old Boer does bred, due in March. They are in Malvern, near where I live. One of my friends called me to tell me she had inquired about them. .She was told that they were bred to a FB reg. buck. I think she said they are 3/4 Boer. She might go take a look today. I might get one of those, if she wants the other. We both have 4H kids.

You are welcome Sandra,I know they're probably not cute right now, since we used to raise rabbits here and we've had baby bunnies born here before.
