Show Quality Pygmy Goats

'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.' - Theodore Roosevelt 1907

This one is worth $15,000. Guess why I dont have one?    And they like to be in herds too, so you would have to have more than one.  Interesting tidbit, they go poddy in one spot, a hole in the ground in their habitat area.

Their poop and goats' poop are the only kinds of manure you can put directly onto a vegetable garden.  I think it's because there's no ammonia, but I'm not real sure.

That is true about their poop... They ALL poop in one spot.  One right after another at our place.  Pile it high like a mountain.  If we "like" their chosen spot, we clean up all but a little pile so they continue to "go" there and if we don't, we clean it all up, put some in a pile where we do want them to go, and presto! a new potty spot!  Very clean and tidy animals.
We make llama tea with their poop  ( reminds me that I need more hobbies) put poop in a big bucket, fill with warm water, set in sun for a day or two, use "tea" for indoor and outdoor plants, vegetables, etc.
will not burn plants like poo's can.  Can also put beans straight on plants.
They are the most beautiful beans too.  Big, black and very shiney and oiley... wow, I really must get a hobby!  Hey, I know, when I get my new digital camera, I'll take a picture!

Beautiful alpaca Deborah. Did the alpacas and llamas share the same barn with the goats?

No, they did not share.  They were two different owners.  And even at the show they did not put them close to one another.  This owner of the alpacas processes the fiber.  I bought the softest warmest socks, that keep your feet dry, wicking away the moisture.  The alpacas had a definite personality.  The male cried when the girls were taken to the truck to get loaded up.  And one of the girls was kinda pushing the other one around to keep her away from the male.  They were very alert, and certainly very beautiful.  this one was worth so much, because of his excellent coat, and great coat even on the legs.
