Author Topic: Please-I need your prayers big time (Read 1429 times)

I have a permanent private easement along my driveway, 10' of which I have not in the past used. But I really, really need it in order to widen my driveway so big trucks like Sears delivery trucks, and the Salvation Army truck, can get down the driveway. Unfortunately, I have a new neighbor (I just found out about last week end) who is an attorney and who has moved up here from the Bay Area, and he is having a fit about my need to move my permiter fence to be able to access the easement. Please pray that he will understand my rights in this matter, and the importance of good neighbors versus feuding neighbors. He actually will be better off in the long run if I move the fence and keep the trees cut in that area as the property he bought has a holding tank and many lines of shallow leach fields that would be ruined by the roots of the trees within the easement-but as a city guy I doubt he has a clue.

I will pray, and if he is an attorney just show him the papers that say you have the right, They wont normally fight legal documentation of others rights to do somthing or at least not out here.

Thank you, I can't tell you how very much it means to be lifted up in prayer during this difficult time. I have to go to the county tomorrow and get a copy of all of the paperwork for my attorney. I just hate that this is happening, I get along with all of my neighbors, but not the guy whose house is just feet from my drive way. But I didn't build it there for goodness sakes.

Please keep praying, I just saw the problem neighbors wife walking on the good neighbors property where I have driven in a couple of stakes, I asked her what she was doing, and she said not to talk to her. I said well that is not your property, as she walked away she yelled it is hers. I told her to look at the survey stakes, but apparently that is too much trouble. Geesh, some people are just too much.

Another nasty letter to my attorney. I don't understand this guy, he is coming to a small town, were people are the way they are, and he is being a jerk. The locals are hard enough to get to know-he is really setting himself and his kids up for a less than wonderful experience in the country.

Send him a bill for landscaping and property maintenance charges. Also to make him feel better buy him another redwood to plant on his leach field. Tell him that you just love redwoods and want to make things up to him.
