Please pray for Daniele

Daniele is my latest "project goat" she arrived this morning at 8am, convulsive, blind, screaming, with legs paddling and head thrashing. I bought her, and have started treatment... she seems to be responding, but you just never know. Please pray for this girls complete and fast recovery.

No more seizures/convulsions she can now hold herself up on her sternum, and shift her hips from side to side for comfort, she can see, and if I help her to her feet, she can stand for a few seconds before collapsing. I am still running IV fluids, and force feeding shredded, cooked beet pulp, and I was up during the night to give her injections, but all in all, she is better than I expected. I think we are seeing parasite (her inner eyelids are grey white) induced Polio, that was triggered by the anemia.

I'm so glad to there is improvement.  I will continue to pray for a full recovering.  I know she is in the best hands.   It just amazes me that  you know just what to do.   Nic your experience is so valuable and Danielle is so lucky to have you.

Thanks for thinking of her. She is now on every other day shots, makes her happy and me as well. Poor girl is a rack of bones, but if she keeps going the way she is, she should start to look better in a couple of months.
