SIL needs your prayers

My SIL is in South Carolina right now and had surgery this morning.  There was a cyst on an ovary that the doctor didn't like the looks of, so they travelled back to S.C. from Florida to have it removed.  Just as they were getting ready to stitch her up after the surgery, the Path report came back that they'd found a cancer cell.  No lymphnodes were involved.  So they removed it and she now has to have Chemo and Radiation treatments.  Don't know if she will have them back home in Florida or where.  When I spoke with my brother earlier, they didn't really know much.  Gigi is Filipino and has hair down to her waist, and will be devastated when she loses it.  But as I told my brother, her life is worth more than long hair.  Prayers are needed for those two, please.

So sorry to hear this, Sandie.  I will certainly keep her in my prayers.  I HATE cancer!

My brother emailed yesterday that she was doing good and up and moving around.  Hard to keep her down anyway.  They think they may get to head back home Sunday or Monday.  Of course the weather may play into when they can get back.  From the sounds of it, they did catch it early.  That was really good news.
