:bawling:  I went this afternoon for my P.T. evaluation, and my first session of therapy.  When I went a few years ago for a torn ACL in the other knee, I felt much better even after the 1st session.  This one will be a different ballgame, I guess - because now it really hurts again.  But I have to continue with the therapy & doing the exercizing at home, too, or I will not get back close to normal.  I also have been walking different on this knee for so long, tyring not to bend it much, that I almost am having to learn how to walk properly again.  Believe it or not, it takes concentration!!!  And the head PT lady is a slave driver; she yells at me if she catches me walking stiff-legged on this left knee!!!!!!!!!!   :scream:

I'm sorry you're hurting, that is the pits. Some of those PT people need a smack, be careful and don't let them push you so hard you go backwards.

Those PT folks can be brutal sometimes.  Hang in there and here's hoping for a speedy recovery without a lot of pain.

Doreen,  so sorry I missed this,
Hoping you are feeling much better now.
Keep up the stretching exercises , they will benefit you
for the rest of your life.
Teaching the yoga stretch classes to the silver sneaker ladies has
shown me the benefits of stretching.
I hear stories every week how much better they feel as they become
more flexible and in less pain.
Keeping you in my good thoughts for a speedy recovery !!!

So glad to hear you are doing better. Randy just snickeres when I read about the PT people...he had months of it after his surgery. He remembers well. Sometimes you have to tell them to let up a bit. He hated it and he knows what pain your having. Keep at it as it will help in the long run...Your in my Prayers for a fast and speedy recovery...stay away from the cat...  :lmao3:

Hey guys, it has been almost a month since my surgery - what a huge difference!!!  Between the meniscus repaisr & the P.T., my knee is feeling so much better, especially compared to right after the surgery when I was moaning & crying about how much it hurt!  I'm even walking almost completely normally now!!  Thank you all so much for all your prayers & support!
