Too Cute
« on: May 25, 2009, 01:27:26 AM »
I have many chestnut agouti Hollands and wanted to add the chestnut agouti color into the Netherland line.
This little thing came to me last week just itty-bitty tiny. He's so cute I could scream!!

'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.' - Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Yes, they are the little ones that get to be just 2 -2.5 lbs when full sized. Their ears do stay upright.
Primarily we have just had the 2 chocolate ND's, but breeding with just 2 has been very slow, so we purchased a few more to build/show with.
To my surprise (LOL), my chocolate doe had 4 babies AFTER I bought 3 new ND's. So we have multiplied quickly with the Netherlands. I think they are just too cute, but they seem much brattier than my Hollands. I think that smaller size may have something to do with that.   :lmao3:
