How much is shipping for the cages to Oklahoma and the cages themselves? I need more caging desperately for my rabbits...

Do you know what size you are looking for? Most of the cages are $20.00 to $40.00.

Is that per hole or per cage row?

Funny you should ask. I can get the actual measurements of what I'm looking for later today when I visit the farm...

In total, 13-17 holes total for caging. 2 for Holland Lops, the rest for large and giant breeds (Checkered giants, palominos, standard rex), with 2 for separating the boys and girls until they're big enough to be sold or sent for auction.

I haven't picked up the Rex pair, palomino pair, or the HL and Checkered bucks and will next month... which is the only reasons mine fit into 4 cages at present. I've been using Vari Kennels and various other easily disinfected containers for overflow.

Yes, those are prices before shipping. To make shipping cheaper, I would suggest we disassemble the cage however I don't know how much cheaper it would be. We still might get charged for an oversize box.

The truck's clutch. Thank God it wasn't the baby rabbits. We're waiting on two does to kindle, the 8 young ones I bought a month or two ago are thriving and growing like weeds.

I was tryin to get rabbits shipped to me before but no one will ship them because the insurance. They do not want to be responsible for the death of the animals. My youngest son wants to raise rabbits but we are having a hard time finding unrelated rabbits to be bred.

I am glad to hear it was not your bunnies but hope you get your truck fixed!

Really, there was trouble shipping? You can ship via air, and if you don't declare a value on the animals you don't have to have some of the paperwork normally required. Call your airline for details.

I live a 1/2 hr. from Tulsa, OK. How close are you? If you're in driving distance, there is the Guy Rose auction and I know of plenty of places to get rabbits.

Where do you live? I know a lot of rabbit breeders (from years of breeding them), maybe I could find one close by you.

I really do not know. My husband says every animal on our farm has to work. So I guess something my son can use to make some cash.

Then let me suggest a meat rabbit. I don't know any of them in your state but could help find you a breeder. There are Californian, Flemish Giant, French Lops, New Zealand, Palomino, Giant Chinchilla. The first two are the most popular meat rabbit breeds.

As far as meat rabbits go, I've had good experiences with the New Zealands, Checkered Giants, and various grades - I'm waiting for the litter of palominos to be weaned and the same with Standard Rexes, then I'll be bringing those breeds in too.
