Prayer needed for a cat

Not a good year for us & cats!! - we need your prayers for Ukie, Steve's barn cat & little buddy.  Steve noticed last evening that Uke was squatting in the litterbox trying to void, but nothing came out.  Took him to Cat Hospital (yes, same place we took little stray kitten - they are closer to us than our other vet) - Ukie is completely blocked.  Steve has left him there, they have catheterized him to drain urine.  Steve got the impression that the situation is pretty serious - they said that usually within 24 hours of complete blockage, the cat dies.  Steve has no idea how long Ukie has been having symptoms - it's only by the grace of God that he saw him straining last night.  Yes, that's right, the "barn cat" gets put into the shop with the combine every night, and has his food & water, a bed, and a litterbox.  This guy is very special to Steve - he's another on-death's-door rescue kitty, and has a real bond with his rescuer.

Cats are pretty resilient in this kind of case if they get to the vet, sure hope you have good news pretty soon.

  for the little guy to make it throught this. Rem cats have nine lifes and I know buy what happen to Lucky they can make it through allot.

 Good news!!!!!!!!!!!! - Steve talked to the vet, and looks like it was caught in time, there were lots of crystals in his 'plumbing"; the catheterization has helped, but they are keeping Ukie overnight to make sure he's able to pee on his own.  Hopefully he'll be just fine!!!     Thank you, Lord!  Uke will probably need to go on the Hill's Science Diet that Rupert gets, I'm thinking.
