I am so sorry. I know I can't say anything to help your pain, but just know I am praying for your family.

Vickie, I'm so sorry for your loss, but what a celebration in heaven there must have been when your dad went home.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Thanks everyone...and we know that he is with our Heavenly Father.  That's what keeps us in peace.

I look back upon the last 6 weeks and I am in awe at how the hand of God has worked.  His blessing and peace have been upon us and it truly is humbling to feel so much love right from the throne of God.

I'm so grateful for all of my friends and the support they have given.  I count all of you, my cyber friends, when I give thanks.

'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.' - Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Thank you all.  Yep, the song is beautiful and is so descriptive in how we all feel.
We miss him terribly.  But we know that he is now in Heaven, and so take comfort in that.

I think the hardest part for me now is the sadness that I feel for my mom...  She's truly alone, and having to adjust to a whole new way of living.  But she's strong.
I'm thankful for that.

Thanks again for all of your prayers and condolences, my friends.   :hug2_202:
