Breeds of sheep

Would it be helpful to anyone to have a thread dedicated to the different breeds of sheep? I was thinking, a brief overview and a picture. Anyone want to be in charge of this effort?

As a sheep owner I would love to know more.. I don't know enough, as I was a kid when I was into them more so we just started back this past spring..

I am very appreciative of this thread.  I have barbadoes sheep, and I really, really enjoyed, and learned from this thread.  And I will refer to it more in the future.  thanks again for all your hard work. :flower:
